Civitas of Cape Coral
Civitas of Cape Coral was funded in FHFC RFA 2019-102 Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) to be used in Conjunction with Tax-Exempt MMRB and Non-Competitive Housing Credits in Counties Deemed Hurricane Recovery Priorities. Sources for this development are 4% LIHTC, provided through Raymond James Tax Credit Fund, City SHIP funding, City HOME funding, Lee County SHIP funding, CDBG-DR, and conventional loans, provided by Fifth Third Bank and Citi Bank. Abuse Counseling & Treatment, Inc. will provide referrals to Personals with Special Needs in need of housing. Civitas is currently under construction with substantial completion anticipated in September 2024.
Civitas is a public-private partnership between Birdsong Housing Partners, ReVital Development Group, and the Lee County Housing Authority.
